Defend Our Juries — Court Support rally

An ini­tial pro­ce­dur­al hear­ing is being held in the High Court on 9th July, relat­ed to the Debate Diet to hap­pen in that court, at a future date, on whether pros­e­cut­ing peo­ple in Scot­land for Defend Our Juries actions protest­ing the pro­scrip­tion of Pales­tine Action breach­es their human rights. 

A ral­ly is being held out­side the court before the hear­ing, using fun visu­als, to get max pub­lic­i­ty for the legal fight against the pros­e­cu­tions. Protest in Har­mo­ny have been asked to take part.

Date & Time: 9:15am — 9:45am, Thurs 9th July (hear­ing starts at 10am)
Loca­tion: Out­side High Court, Par­lia­ment Square, EH1 1RQ

Some of our song­leaderoos (Ann, Jane and pos­si­bly Hala) have kind­ly vol­un­teered to lead us in some of our appro­pri­ate songs if suf­fi­cient Protest in Har­mo­ny folks are able to come along. 

No need to reply to say you are com­ing, we will sing if there are enough of us there.

The crowd­fun­der to cov­er the hefty legal fees being incurred has been updat­ed fol­low­ing the Court of Appeal’s rul­ing that the pro­scrip­tion of PA was law­ful on 15th June and the fix­ing of this 9th July pro­ce­dur­al hear­ing in the Scot­tish courts.
