Campaign Against the Arms Trade protest

28 May — CAAT is organ­is­ing a protest out­side Leonardo’s – the arms man­u­fac­tur­er – at Crewe Toll round­about, 12 noon – 2pm. There will be speak­ers, a dabke danc­ing teach-in and some mem­bers of San Ghan­ny choir singing. It would be great if peo­ple from PIH can come along to sing and sup­port. (One exam­ple of the dev­as­ta­tion caused by Leonardo’s trade is in Pales­tine. They work close­ly with Israel in the devel­op­ment of weapons relat­ed tech­nol­o­gy involved in the sup­pres­sion of the Pales­tin­ian peo­ple and their human rights.)
