Saturday 21 November
singing session
Wednesday 25 November
Edinburgh University Feminist's candlelit vigil on from 5 pm in Bristo Square, for victims and survivors of homophobic and transphobic violence, as part of the 16 Days of Action Against Gendered Violence. PiH will sing one song (probably Gentle Angry People) maybe at about 5.30/6.00pm, exact time tbc.
Saturday 5th December
Global day of demonstrations against climate change — 'The Wave' in Glasgow.
PiH will be singing on the march, & we've been invited to sing one song on the main stage. This is a major event, & is the final mass public demonstration before the Copenhagen summit a few days later. More details of timings etc, to follow — but please do try & attend if you can.
Saturday 12 December
singing session (probably followed by peace carols to support a Campaign Against the Arms Trade stall, as usual for our December date).
19 – 21 March 2010
Residential weekend at Stroove. Costs will be £45 (moderate income+) & £25 (low income).
To book a place, please bring your deposit (non-refundable) £10 / £5 on Sat 21st November. If you cannot attend next Saturday but want to book, email Kathy Jenkins.
People are needed to join the organising group for Stroove, starting with probably one meeting before Xmas. This is not a huge job, if enough people join in, but it is very important, & can't be left just to the usual committee members (it's also quite fun, & a chance to get a bit more involved in PiH.

Both versions are in RealPlayer format. If you don't already have it, you will need the (free) RealPlayer program to view the files. The BBC has a useful guide to installing RealPlayer.
